Fourth of July, 2004

Ron and I celebrated our country's independence on the Fourth by viewing the annual National Mall fireworks display from a spot directly beside the the Iwo Jima Memorial, the thrilling reminder of the sacrifices necessary to keep our country free. Earlier in the afternoon we enjoyed another American classic, Cat on a Hat Tin Roof, at the Kennedy Center.
